By using the Need A Print website you automatically agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you disagree with any of the following terms and conditions you must terminate use of this website.

Use of website
Need A Print owns all property, content, images of the website. All rights are reserved property of Need A Print. You must not
- Copy any part of the websites code and infrastructure
- Republish any content on the website without prior consent
- Use the website for means of selling your own service or product without prior consent
Restricted Access
Certain sections of our website are for restricted access including account sections. We reserve the right to restrict access to these sections at our discretion. When you have registered with Need A Print you will be given a user ID and password. You must ensure these details are kept confidential and not shared. It will be your full responsibility if any loss or damage is caused to Need A Print due to not storing your password in a secure manor.
Uploaded Files
Need A Print carry no liability for files that are uploaded to our server for printing. Files will be held on file during and after an order is completed for our records. We hold files securely online and offline.
Law and Jurisdiction
These terms of use will be governed by and construed in accordance with English law, and any disputes relating to these terms of use will be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the United Kingdom. However we have the rights to bring court proceedings against you in your country of residence if the terms and conditions are breached.
Refunds and Cancellations
All orders once placed are final. No alterations can be made once a file is approved by pre press for printing. If you wish to cancel an order before it is printed or plated a cancellation fee of £15 will be applied. This fee is to cover time spent processing your files in our pre press department.
Returns
Where a product is faulty we will offer a reprint or a refund if we are unable to address the issue via a reprint. A reprint of your item will take priority over refunds. Where an item is unwated please refer to to Refunds and Cancellations. Any faults or issues must be reported within 3 days of delivery.
File supply
Need A Print perform basic checks on each print file. We check resolution, size, bleed and safe margin. Any other parts of the file we do not check and it is up to the customer to ensure their artwork is supplied as per our guidelines. We do not check content of a file. Where a file is flattened we cannot check the resolution of each photograph and/or object, we check the overall resolution in this case. Files supplied in RGB will be automatically converted to CMYK Fogra 39. We cannot be held responsible for colour shifts during the conversion, we advise all customers to design in a CMYK workspace. PDF's are the preferred file method, where a file is supplied that is not PDF or in a format that supports CMYK we cannot be held responsible for colour changes.
Artwork files must be supplied to us in a print-ready PDF (font embedded) format, in CMYK with a minimum 300dpi resolution.
Artwork files to be supplied as per the size of product selected. We will not adjust an artwork file or change any artwork file to suit an order submitted
The print file should have 3mm bleed around the finished artwork and a safe margin of 5mm within the finished artwork size ( See the artwork section for a full explanation)
Any artwork file not supplied in the correct format or size required will be returned by our systems for amending. If help is required please ask by emailing info@needaprint.co.uk
In regards to books the pages should be supplied in PDF portrait as single paged
Proofs
If a proof is requested when the product is ordered we will send this to you electronically
Please check your junk mail if you have not approved us an approved sender to you as the email may go in there
Turnaround times start once an order has been approved
Folds
When paper or card is folded a small amount of cracking can occur along the spine especially if heavier stock is used and this is normal.
If a solid cover is used along the spine the cracking may appear more pronounced. It is better to use a lighter colour along the spine to prevent any cracking being amplified
We are not liable for any cracking on a folded item
Value Added Tax
All prices are shown excluding VAT. Certain products on the website are zero rated VAT and we process these orders as VAT zero rated. However, HMRC have rules and regulations regarding the content on these products that make them zero rated. If your artwork results in the zero rated VAT not being applicable any charges will be due on the items and must be paid before we ship any items.
Delivery/Shipping Dates
All delivery/shipping times are estimates not guarantees and maybe effected by unforeseen production or courier issues . We do not accept responsibility for delays or any loss suffered due to missed shipping or delivery dates
Print turnaround times ( TAT) commence once the artwork is ready to print
We do not deliver at the weekends and all shipping dates are based on a 5 day business week
Any item which the courier is unable to deliver and return to us will be charged for a re-delivery
